2019-2020 Studio Newsletter

Hello everyone and Happy September! The new school year is now upon us! Just a few reminders on Policy below:

MAKE UP POLICY: If you cannot make it to your regularly scheduled lesson, be sure to try and swap with another student ( there is a schedule with emails attached on my website under RESOURCES) If you have swapped lesson times, please be sure to contact me so I can make the appropriate changes to my schedule. As always, cancellations made after the 24 hour policy do not warrant a makeup. If I need to cancel lessons due to sickness, emergency, etc I will credit for the following month.

PAYMENT OPTION: I will only be accepting cash as a form of payment.

Just Some Reminders: If you need to CANCEL LESSONS, you must let me know by the 20th of that month. Failure to do so will result in a $30 fee. Tuition is due at the FIRST LESSON whether you're there or not. You must drop it off that day or at the very least, sometime that same week. Late payment can result in loss of weekly lesson time. Please pay at the BEGINNING of the lesson.

2018-2019 Schedule of Events

Musical Theater Class: This year I will be giving Musical Theater classes at Middletown Dance Academy on Wednesdays from 5-6. Classes teach students how to sing, act, and dance and feature music from School of Rock and HAMILTON! Please contact me for more info if you’d like to sign up!

Broadway Trip: Man Girls- Sunday, September 15th, 2019. Pick up is at the Staples in Middletown at 12 PM. 1515 NJ 35, Middletown NJ 07748. Show starts at 3. We will be dropped off back at Staples by 5:30pm.

Middletown Day: Unfortunately, Rositano Studios will not be performing this year at Middletown Day due to scheduling conflicts

Open Mic Nights: Wednesdays at Water Witch Coffee- Highlands at 7pm.

Winter Showcase: Sunday, December 15th 3-5pm at Old Glory, Keyport NJ.

There will be one MANDATORY rehearsal for the Showcase. Friday, December 6th from 7-9.
Please fill out the sign up sheet for the Winter Showcase if you'd like your child to perform NO LATER THAN MONDAY OCTOBER 7th.
Dress Code: Dress, Skirt, Dress Pants and Dress Top, Dress Shoes. Red, Green, Gold, Silver, White- Any color thats festive. NO SNEAKERS OR JEANS.

Spring Showcase: Sunday May 17th at Joseph C Caruso School, Keansburg, NJ 5-7PM

There will be 4 MANDATORY rehearsals held at Middletown Dance Academy

1. Friday, February 28th 7-9pm (Rositano Studios)

2. Friday March 27th 7-10pm

3. Friday April 24th 7-10pm

4. Dress Rehearsal Friday May 15th 7-11pm

Please Fill out the Sign Up Sheet for the Spring Showcase NO LATER THAN MONDAY JANUARY 27th. You must be able to make it to ALL REHEARSALS.
The Spring Showcase will still be a free event however, for every student performing I need to collect $50.00 to cover Venue costs, Insurance, and Rehearsal Space Fees. This is due NO LATER THAN Monday, February 3rd, 2019.
Dress Code: Everyone will need a black dress and shoes. Please make sure it is completely black- no white or other colors in the dress.

Piano Vocal Arts Night: Wednesday June 17th, 2019 location TBD 5-7pm

Invitation Only Performance
Dress Code: Black Semi Formal

Music Video: Rositano Studios will be filming a Women’s Rights Music Video to debut on International Women’s Day. Further Info will be given out after I get back from my Honeymoon!

Rositano Studios will be doing a Toy Drive this year. If you would like to donate please bring a wrapped gift starting October 28th to your lesson. The last day to give is Monday, December 9th.

Rositano Studios will also be CLOSED on the following days:

Labor Day Weekend: August 30th- September 2nd

MY WEDDING & HONEYMOON!- Monday October 7th to Monday October 14th

Halloween: October 31st

Thanksgiving: November 28th- December 1st

Christmas Eve & Day: December 24th & 25th

New Years Eve & Day: December 31st & January 1st

Memorial Day Weekend: May 23rd-25th
